PERSONAL
Ernie is one of the founding members of the law firm. For more than 30 years he has represented clients throughout the State of Missouri, in numerous federal courts, and before the U.S. Department of Agriculture. In addition to practicing law, Ernie is a mediator with training in civil, domestic relations, and real estate mediation.

He has written articles and has been a seminar speaker on agricultural law topics for the Missouri Bar and the American Agricultural Law Association. In addition, he is the author of a chapter on federal and state laws affecting the marketing of farm products in a farm law book published by the Missouri Bar. Ernie grew up on a grain, cotton and livestock farm in southeast Missouri. He is a retired Commander in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve.

Ernie is active in local civic affairs, having served on the Raymore-Peculiar School District Board of Education, the Raymore City Council, the Raymore Park Board and the Raymore Board of Zoning Adjustment. He also served on the Raymore Charter Commission which wrote the home rule charter for the City of Raymore. He is a member of the Raymore-Peculiar Sunrise Optimist Club, the Raymore Park Foundation, and the Raymore Historical Society.
